Michael P. Forbes, President and Chief Executive Officer of PR/Strategies International LLC., served as U.S. Congressman from New York (1995-2001).

Forbes was on the powerful Appropriations Committee, responsible for annual budget allocations for the Federal government.

He championed increased funding for colleges and hospitals, cancer research, environmental clean-up, child care facilities and small businesses.

He also was a member of the House Banking and Small Business committees, and was appointed in 1990 by President George H.W. Bush to head the U.S. Small Business Administration in New York.

Forbes was a chief of staff for two U.S. senators and a chief aide in the New York Senate and New York Assembly.


Donald B. Abelson, chairman, PR/Strategies International, is a long time Washington, DC consultant. He brings to the company a lengthy career with the Washington DC firm, Eshallier and Leaming, Inc., where his expertise as a federal lobbyist and representative of domestic, foreign interests included contractual, legislative and special situation negotiations.

Additionally, Mr. Abelson was former president of Abelson, Richter and Company of New York, investment bankers specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and reorganizations.
